CGC Associates was organized in the early 1970s under the TCS Record label. Our goal was to introduce new talent to the listening audience. The label produced many fine artists such as Gwen Carter, Ronnie Corbin Singers, Pittsburgh All Stars, The Gospel Creators, Gabriel Hardeman Delegation, and many more great talents.
The Label may have been a little ahead of it’s time because many radio DJ’s weren’t ready to accept new artists and the sounds that they presented. At the time, many were unwilling to play anything other than what was considered “mainstream.” So now we are here in year 2003 and perhaps now is the time to reintroduce “music with a message” to a whole new generation. We still use the TCS Music logo, but under a new umbrella: C. Gregory Carter Associates.
